No. 10 of 9 (Anchor Activity) Collecting Artifacts in a Museum Box
Museum Box was inspired by Thomas Clarkson's work toward abolishing slavery in the early 19th Century. He carried around a box of artifacts from his research of African people and used it to humanize them when others considered them merely property. Where Clarkson used a wooden box, the online version allows students to collect artifacts from their research and store them in a virtual box.
